Ft. Gibson Lake. Thanks for the calls today and I’ve got more days available. The sandbass is good as it can get. Spoonbill still available and skiatook trips are an option as well. Today I had long term FISH ON client Nathan and hillcrest crew. Got a little competition going with another crew Friday so we hit them pretty hard. Landed on fish and never moved it was real good. We boated 160 fish and I cleaned 145 of them netting 7 gallons of fillets, Glad it worked out and thank you for using Fish on guide service.

I’ve still got days open May 1st thru the 5th and 10,11, and only weekend in MAY OPEN is 14th and 15th. Long weekend of hunting and fishing. Weather was a little hard but we got er done. was phenomenal yet again. Every trip has been real good lately like fast as you can feed them. I RECOMMEND BOOKING! My customers flew in from Florida to check it out. We didn’t keep as many cleaned 50 and threw that many back and got to check out a big female spoonbill on the way out. It was a real nice one didn’t take long to get it either.

We had an excellent day at Ft. Gibson yesterday. Bite was a little slow at the first stop we picked off 18 sandbass and catfish combo, Jacob and Mike wanted to have a look at some spoonbill so I went up where I had seen a few on sonar and that was short work! I must admit the waves and wind was pretty extreme but my guests were in good shape so we went on up the river afterwards and settled in on a white bass hole where wind was giving me trouble, went up further still and got what I was looking for and we tore em up every cast. Live bait seem like about 7 to 8 ft of water was preferred. Massive schools of sandbass there coming thru on sonar and they was real hungry. It was great. We got a lot of drum even a gar, one pretty large catfish and a few small ones, and oh so many white bass. Cleaned 80 fish today, yielded 4 gallons. Call me to book a trip!

We got our bait and went on to one of the best sandbass/white bass bites on Ft. Gibson I’ve had this season and was lucky enough to just land on them with the 1st stop and never left it. They was thick and real hungry. I’ve still got dates available! Just let me know if you want to get on them. Cleaned 130 yielded 5 gallons of fillets

We had a really nice day on the water today conditions were good with Mike and Karen. They wanted to go after catfish so we focused on that and we caught a few on the first stop and got quite a few in the second and third stop. I checked one area on my way down the river and then out to an area where I knew we would get plenty and we did lots of action nothing too big anywhere today but plentiful and Nice sand bass and a nice hybrid. Most of the fish were caught anywhere from 5 feet to 20 feet of water in current. I cleaned 25 fish and we threw back at least 10 they was worried about me having to clean them but it was also sportsmanship behavior that I can respect. They produced more meat than the sandbass and probably a better quality. I like the sandbass too personally 😉 Call me if you’d like to schedule a trip we have openings
