fishon! fishonok.com, OOLOGAH Lake today, good to see you David it’s been a while thank you! We targeted crappie in brush piles 10 and 15 feet deep and it was about half-and-half keepers and throwback boxed 45, and also managed to catch 11 nice catfish in one of them 16 pounds or so. They’re not fast or they’re not thick in there or hitting very good but this is very consistent every trip has been almost a blueprint. Sending home a lot of fillets. Water temperature low 80s catfish 25 to 35 feet, minnows for the crappy lolMay be an image of fishing and text

Fish On! Fishonok.com Oologah lake today had my new favorite brothers on the boat today and their wives again to check out part two of summer Fishing. We headed over to some brush piles and we’re getting larger fish off of 10 foot or less but they didn’t want to stay biting it’s been that way. I’ve developed a beat on some large catfish again and we had 13 nice ones to go with our 40 crappie. The trick on the panfish right now is just getting the big ones. Water temperature was 82° catfish was caught in 25 foot of water. Thank you Greg!

Fish On! Fishonok.com Oologah today. Thanks Steve, good to see you, we got started off on some pretty difficult CRAPPIE Fishing 10 to 12 foot of water was holding the larger fish but pretty hard to get them to bite moved out to 15 foot was ideal had a lot of doubles and triples and a few of size a lot of mediums. And then 22 feet didn’t catch much. Larger catfish were biting today we had a limit on overs and seven other nice catfish up to 13 pounds today. Wasn’t trying for them too hard just had some lines out while we were fishing brush piles. I forgot to note the water temperature I guess it’s still in the low 80s and the CRAPPIE summertime bite it is going to improve the next couple of weeks and then be good for quite some time next month for sure. The water looks great and normal everything is pretty good Fishing catfish were preferring a little bit deeper water. 20ft over shallow. We’ve been using some pretty large chunks of cut fresh fish for Bait. A lot of oil and blood in the water. 55 crappieMay be an image of fishing and text

Fish On! fishinok.com Thanks! I had Chase out on Oologah today. We started out with some CRAPPIE Fishing which was going really good we were doubling up and all kinds of crazy but it kind of settled down after a while and we had to work on them but we kept picking off some pretty nice fish if we were persistent and we had some catfish lines in that area pick up I think four really nice size blues. The the last part of the trip we decided to try some sand bass which just totally wasn’t going to hit it we were right on them. And they were pile up pretty good glued to bottom doing their thing I just haven’t had much luck with those so far. We moved out to some deeper water and got some more nice catfish unfortunately a couple of those got away but we had plenty of fillets in the end. Crappie 10 to 16ft on brush using minnows, catfish 25 to 33ft and sandbass were 27ft. Water temps low 80’s been cooler this weekend for a change.

Fish on! Fishonok.com Thanks Clint good to see some family today and a great day to be on the water wind and temps perfect and fishing ok we were learning how to catch crappie and they got pretty good for awhile and seemed to slow down with approaching storms. Found some decent blues in 30ft of water they have been difficult we got 10pretty quick so that’s a lot better. I been looking for them. We had everything from whopper crappie to fry on crappie. A very memorable trip!
