Fish On! fishonok.com Back to Sooner Today with Rhonda and her husband excellent customers repeat Fish On Guide Service customers. When they called for sooner I figured I could get a few and we did. In fact we boxed 35 fish with about half of them or more being hybrid striper. Some sand bass, catfish, saugeye couple perch. It started off hot on downlines then switched over to lines cast away from the boat and ended trolling most of the fish were caught in 3 to 12 feet of water. Live bait and we got hybrids on cut bait as well. Caught and released 8 fairly large drum as well as 4 turtles couple saugeye and perch. boated about 50. bigger hybrids were 3 and 4 lbs.
Did a recreational trip to keystone today to stay on the catfish. lake has dropped a little the fish have recessed into deeper water a bit as well mud line has pushed way down the lake. We did good from 15ft all the way to 35ft in clear and stained water. Looking for roving schools of fish on flats in or near some of the typical hangouts. Yep we found them. It wasn’t a feeding freenzy and wasn’t easy but they would come on pretty good once you got settled in had a lot of pairs and even 4 at a time on two spots. Got a nice one man limit of blues and found spoonbills stacked up real nice I didn’t have time to get after them but they would have been easy. Gar are everywhere but they only bit in shallow water. Pics are not great we released most of the fish and 9 of the bigger ones we kept alive.
Back to beautiful oologah Lake today and fishing was real good again anywhere from 15 feet to 8ft on crappie even less.. Likewise the blue cats were all on the banks and I mean we’re talking 2 to 3 feet of water. These men today slayed em to the point we was tired of catching. Russ helped me clean we we counted 140 total with about a half dozen blue cats and the big fish was 8 lbs.. Butch made the crappie rods for me for a fact they are fine.. sure as heck can’t buy anything that compares. better than that Huckabee stuff. We boated approx 225 fish and it was a lot of work. Awesome day we had a ton of fun.

We rolled out to a likely location in about 15ft of muddy water and it was one big fish right after the other and pretty much stayed that way. We moved around a few times and things did vary with depth and amount of sunlight. We did real good on our last stop even at 20 feet of water. I do believe we produced at least 100 pounds of fillets today . . caught 40 or more and cleaned 35.
Fish On! I had to take a day to deep clean my guide boat and let it dry out good and seal the flooring which all seemed to work out good. Ran down to Keystone Dam this afternoon and found fish quickly and limited out quickly. I didn’t keep anything, fishing was good. Forgive my photos i just unhooked these fish at the water to keep them healthy didn’t want to give up my location exactly either 
Got plenty of openings. Catfish, Crappie, Hybrid, Saugeye all been on the line within the last five days so got some options. Pretty sure get some full blood striper or sandbass if needed as well. Call anytime to discuss. 10th, 11th and many days after the 16th are open.
