Fish On! SKIATOOK again today. Headed out to an area loaded with sand bass and hybrids and they flat got it on I’m holding that location to calls only due to demand. When that slowed down moved down 100 yards and did it again. Went looking around after it got sun up real good and lost a bite found some nice catfish near tall Chief racked up a few of those too. Water temperature was 68 to 70°, not finding a whole lot of hybrids on every location by any means. Using small or medium size gizzard SHAD on downlines about three cranks off bottom on small octopus hooks, casting some lines as far as I can with 1 ounce sinkers and using whole dead bait for the most part. A few cut. I wouldn’t say it’s an early morning bite but it does slow down about noon or 1 o’clock. It may pick it up again in the evening. 43 hybrid, 9 catfish, and dozen white bass. fishonok.com for more information. Be sure to check your regulations for SKIATOOK. We follow that and catch and release the rest
Fish On! Didn't get my post up yesterday, we rolled out similar to yesterday. One stop shop bite started out on down lines with live bait as sun come up. It got a little better and started hitting free lines as well same as the day before and maybe slowed down about 12 or 1 o'clock depending on which day you want to pick. 40 foot of water exactly getting scattered fish that would come in together in pairs or threes. We had a lot of nice fish, including the biggest one out of the two days which was 6 1/2 pounds and then more smaller ones yesterday. 32 hybrids total five catfish one sand bass one perch. Thank you, Steve

Fish ON! SKIATOOK Lake today, water temperature was 63 nice and cool. David had given me a idea where to look. And it was a one stop shop. We caught 22 large hybrids. Six Sandbass and a dozen blue catfish. Some of the other boats who were having great luck live scoping with artificial bait. Catching sand bass. It was about half and half on down lines and free lines. The Fish didn’t seem too interested in the boat they didn’t swarm or hang around but they would move through like they were running back-and-forth along a ridge. You just had to wait for them to come and they just kept coming all day not fast but steady. I think we had one double and maybe a triple but one of those got off. Thank you David, thank you Steve for coming to see me long time customer. We still have openings booked a bunch today thanks everybody
