Fish On! Fishing Keystone today we got a nice wad of catfish bagging 27 and tossing a few back. We been getting a drum or two each trip now for awhile. Very foggy start and high boat traffic today. Turned beautiful and we bagged some bigger fish last couple stops made me real happy along with the customers. Thank you Jerred for organizing the outing and being patient as the bite was a little slow. I’ve got a lot of openings mid April and will be pushing spoonbill and sandbass trips. Fish On Keystone! We hit some decent weather today finally. Little wind but not bad. We mainly fished wind blown banks today 8 to 12ft water seemed best although we did ok in 3 to 5ft as well. Mostly spring sized fish up to 8lbs which has been mostly the norm although some days the biggins bite great, we boxed our limits plus a few for me. Thanks Harley for bringing your wife out and choosing Fish On Guide Service. Water temps are recovered quickly back up to 50. Spoonbill have ran up the flowing current in the Arkansas and we caught sandbass on cut bait today so they are up in there running as well.

I think we caught a fish on every stop and did good on each stop. our typical pattern today was hammering for five fish, pretty fast off the front of the boat, and then things would slow down. I did a lot of cookie cutter moves and chiseled out a nice limit of Blues and released a few. Big fish was 16lbs and we didn’t do a lot of photos. water temp up a notch to 46 fishing 8 to 12ft seemed best.
