Fish On! Hey Thanks Shane for choosing my service. Thanks for making it to check out the Lower Illinois river. We started searching and searching on and on for a very long time. I was covering some different water on the way out about 10am around the mud line and finally got into a big group of striper, hybrid, white bass. We caught some bigger ones trolling swimbaits, then proceeded to catch many many more by casting. I hazard a guess at 30 or more all caught and released. Mostly about 3ft of water. A one or two man limit of keepers if ya wanted a fry. These fellas fly fishing on my boat, I knew that was coming eventually, it's a die hard method of take and worked just great. Fishing was best in about 80degree water. Similar to last trip. Sun up, way up is best..

Celia called me to organize a striper outing at keystone lake, celebrating husbands birthday today. I went and got some bait and got there and had to wait on some rain. After I got set up it didn't take long for a big Striper the bend a rod down. We went on to get 4 impressive flat head catfish up to 12lbs and a few more stripers up to 4 lbs. seemed like 15-20ft was good on the live baits, As the sun came up the bite shut down got slow. We went casting for sandbass and did pretty good once everyone got the hang of things fishing rooster tails and slabs in 9ft of water. Nice white bass up to 2lbs. Thanks Dave Clark for your good reputation and business refferal that helped make today possible. We had fun and I think everyone learned a little. Wish every day could be like today. Minus the storms this morning.

Fish On! Eric with OnCall Services, wanted to check out some Striper on Lower Illinois river. We headed that way nice n early, Started hitting a few hangouts headed up the river, noted the Arkansas water was 72 and Water temp recorded at 10bridge was 62. We got on one group of Striper up in clear water and had a good one on for awhile. And a few short hits. Things was real quite all morning, I changed tatics and lures and went searching bigger water. Found plenty of striper in the Arkansas River about 5 to 12ft deep, we kept a 2 man limit and easily throwed back a 3 man limit or more. The Bite just kept getting better right in middle of day was best. We released most of what we caught today. Also 4 or more nice hybrids, a Sauger, and enough white bass I lost count of those too. Water is right down that way and I'll guide anyone that wants to learn about it. Just let me know. This a a option all summer, I've got more options than I have time to keep up with in the summer. Can't say the same for other times of the year. All the more reason to book soon 🙂

Text is great 918-724-6786 We had a very productive day on Oologah for White Bass and Blue Catfish. The bite was really good on the sandbass in 16ft of beautiful clear water. We boxed 35 of those when the morning bite died off we started on Blue cat and had to move a couple times but got on a real good group of them. Boxed 15 eaters up to 10lbs and released one Over weighing in at 50lbs and some change. I had a feeling it was coming the bite has been good. My next available days would be Monday or Wednesday

Fish On!! My weekend groups CANCELED so this weekend is OPEN feel free to call me or book online.. Hope everybody's enjoying the summer while it lasts. This week on Oologah has just been impressive. We're having fun catching sandbass Crappie and blue catfish. These blues are king producers right now. I finally got some crew that wanted to kind of focus on catfish and we really tore them up big Rod Slamming blues up to 12lbs running shallow. We also needed some Crappie to send home the small fish are biting really good today it was hard to get anything past them to get the bigger fish so I just canned them get what the lake gives you and be happy it's not a zero.. We had a solid quart out of 22 crappie. I'd say 5 to 13 feet is best for Crappie and 3 to 10 feet on the blues. However blues also hanging with Bait schools at 30 feet. Got 35 blues and we got out of there about noon or 1pm. It's easy to stay too long when fishing is this good!
