I didn’t like how the boat was blowing around so i moved and cut the fish for bait and we hooked up with some real nice catfish up to 14lbs and caught sandbass nonstop on downlines. FISH ON! Ft. Gibson today. We had a slow start today but we hit a few nice Catfish up to 15lbs and one 6lb hybrid along with some picky slow biting sandbass. Sandbass flipped on midday and we hammered them till it was time to go! FISH ON! I Had Alan and crew out on Ft. Gibson at the low water today. 4 full gallons of meat and we let 20+ go. I think we caught most species available on live shad in mild running water on a perfect cool weather day. Caught a big healthy paddlefish as well thought it was a big catfish. We didn’t do photo’s. Catfish bite was about half what it was the last couple days we got 16 of those and Sandbass was about the same we had more anglers today so we caught more fish. Good Anglers at that. FISH ON! Dennis come down from Iowa for 2 days of Oklahoma fishing and we knocked it out of the park both days. His family and extended family are stocked on fish till next year. This really is the best time of year to fish. If you missed this April be sure to book the next. We limited on catfish again quickly and caught as many sandbass as we could they was biting every cast at Ft. Gibson lake fishing shallow and all the way up. I can still work something in if needed call 918-724-6786 or book online May and June will be good as well. Fishing Ft. Gibson today and the catfish bite was impressive to say the least. We caught 40 and 15 of them was over 10lbs. Kept the limit and put the rods up. Big fish going 18 and 15. We was catching sandbass every cast on one side and Catfish was knocking on the other side. 7ft of water on gravel bottoms using cut fish for bait. We limited out quickly and focused on the white bass till rain come. This was one to remember. Thanks Dennis for choosing my service.
