Fish On! 12/6/24 I'm running behind getting post up. I'm putting a lot of effort into making it happen for the fishing trips but also facebook has stopped accepting most compatible file format from my phone photos at least as of yesterday.. Sooner was pretty tough we got on some hybrids with the first stop nothing real fast but we got seven of them in the boat most of them over 20 inches and I swear that another seven of them got off at the top of the water or got off the hook on the way in. That pretty much tells you their attitude for the day. We got one hybrid on the second stop. I had some catfish lines out we had 6 nice blue catfish one big saugeye, nice bass, we got to Fishing for white perch at one point and caught 20 of those or more. I’m not very good at catching perch but we did pretty good they were biting. Power plant was off today water temperature was 48 seems like it got colder. I really didn’t seem to get much transition time the hybrid stayed at 20 feet on the main lake for almost a month then they went to 35 and 38 feet and then straight into a winter time pattern on the warm and cold side of the lake. I would say everything is staying on track with being ahead of schedule over all this entire year. There is still going to be some great days ahead. Catfish bite was normal.

Fish On! 12-5-24 darn cold day on Sooner lake started at 34 degrees and high of 38 or some such 12mph wind. Sat down on first stop and got a 3 man limit on overs and 1 under on hybrids, a nice saugeye and a catfish. We went looking after that and never found anything. Trent was hauling around the second half of the group and he got on them before it was said and done come up with similar or same amount of hybrid. 31 or 32 hybrids between the two boats some perch, a bass and a couple catfish. Grief it was cold. I’d like to know how it can be 38 degrees and ice on the fishing lines at my last stop of the day. I was glad to get everyone holding a fish for the photo which is easier said than done. Water temp dropped into the upper 40’s from 50 in one night its been a heck of a temp swing over a 6 day period. One smoke stack running on the power plant, I’m sure theres some temp down there somewhere or the fish wouldn’t be biting.

Fish ON! 12-4-24 Sooner Lake. I was off water a couple days, Noted water temps were 50 all over the lake it had dropped a little. Headed out to check spots where we been catching on main lake and easy enough to find fish on sonar and the saugeye were biting but after 4 attempts and one white bass decided to check the outlet and picked up a slow bite there and just stuck with it till we had our limit on overs and a few unders. 16 hybrid 2white bass 2 saugeye and a big thank you to my new friend David for hanging out and making it happen 🙂 had one 27” fish.

Fish On! 11-31-24 fishonok.com, Sooner for second outing this time Steve, Len, Matthew and Sierra. We got a couple hybrid on first stop but wind was killing us, I found a spot out of the swells that was producing slowly but surely till one cooler was filled., couple more nice bass and another 5 saugeye today and 45 hybrid. The wind calmed down about 11:30ish and I gave em a option to go looking and we found em. We was flat getten er done till we ran out of bait. What I’m seeing out there is wind is calmer middays and fish are biting better as well at that time at least for the last 3 or 4 outings. My weather app is showing lower winds in mornings and they just haven’t been getting it right. Get me out there earlier and burned up all my bait is what that weather app did….I’m on em. I’ve got openings in December if needed best to call or text me I reckon. Thanks Steve yall some of the toughest fisherman I know thats a fact.
