Fish On! February 25, 2025, Keystone Lake. I just picked up where I left off Sunday and they weren’t there. Moved up lake and got them in 44ft of water not fast and furious action. But I was happy with the results today. 3 anglers and 3 gallons of fish 4.5hrs. Cut bait cast far away from the boat. And decent size blues along with a few cleaners. You’ve just practically got to hit them in the head with it get them to bite. And it’s difficult locating them sweet spots. Soft hits and deep water. Surface temperatures have moved from 33 up to 38. We managed to box 10 and had a few get away 🙂 sure can’t complain about the air temperature and sunlight but there wasn’t any wind to speak of and bite is slow.

Fish On! February 23 Keystone Lake. Corporate outing today with Rick, Thomas, Andrew, Jeff, and Jack. I headed out where I’ve been catching fish and solid ice this morning whole lake froze over in spots lol. couldn’t get down in there where I wanted to go so we set some lines and caught some anyhow waiting on the ice to melt when we were able to go down lake I ended up going another 2 miles down from where I left them yesterday finally picked up a little bit of a bite in 44ft of water but today was slow we got 20 and worked hard to make that happen. 4 of those were 5 to 8 pounds so bigger fish were taking a pass. Every fish stuffed with shad. We got them cleaned up bagged up and headed home and we’ll do it again some other time. 3 gallons today. That ice messed things up I reckon however with the warm temperatures the shad are perking up so I’d expect things to pick up again. Book 24/7 at fishonok.com NOW is the time to get a seat in April one of the busiest months of the year. Fish On! 2-22-25 Keystone Lake today had the pleasure of William and his crew aboard I figured with all the ice and stuff I’d hit for some spots I’ve been fishing in deeper water and we got to catching fish on just about every stop some real nice size but it was a mix everything was big enough to fillet. I did make a run up lake to see if anything could be had, but sonar was ghost town so headed back down lake and finished up the trip catching more fish. Boxed 25 and had a 12 and 16lb on our overs. Sent home 7 gallons if I recall correct. It was a good outing slightly better than the last couple before the ice. Fish were stuffed to the gills with shad and drum but they was hitting anyway slowly but surely same as it has been for a couple months. Water temp was 33 down from 38 and lake has dropped again they must have done a lot of generating. Wind speed was perfect, sunny day surprisingly nice once we got to catching 🙂 book 247 at fishonok.com or give me a shout thanks everybody!

Fish ON! Feb 17th 2025, book anytime at fishonok.com, Big Thank You to Curtis for supporting my service, we went out and located some fish and got to catching 10 of them on the first stop mostly blues with a few channel cat mixed in. We worked over that part of the lake picking off a couple each stop then went down lake and ran the number up to 20 catfish total two overs and one striper, Caught the striper on a catfish rig and cut bait so that would seem to indicate the striper fishing will improve so we may target a few of those in upcoming trips. There’s a lot of weekends and weekdays open in March so grab your family and friends and lets book a date. For now snow 🙂

Fish On! 1-15-25 Keystone We had a ok outing on Keystone Lake with Chris very foggy start, headed out to where I thought catfish would be and we got to catching them 15 to 20ft of water. Lotta soft bites and the ones we did get were good size. Cleaned up 22 of them total and 5 gallons of meat bagged and sent home. Water temp 49degrees. We would bag a few fish the first 15minutes then bite would die off so they wasn’t running hard searching for food but we moved around and managed to stay on them. Using cut shad for bait. 25, and 26th this month are open as well as the following weekend March 1st and 2nd.
