Fish On! Fishonok.com Skiatook today started early looking for hybrids, been about a week since I been there. Quickly found schools of them mixed with sandbass in 35ft of water and less so that was a major change compared to last trip. They would push off away from the boat quickly I worked on a grind with that a couple hours I started casting artificials at them and no hits there either. Caught a couple catfish so baited up some more lines for those and that put some meat in the boat. 18 of those and a sandbass yielded about 2 gallons of meat to take home. Thanks Evelyn for booking with my service and look forward to having yall out every time. Fish were stuffed with zebra mussels, water temp 81 fish are in summer areas now including catfish. Fish were caught in 35ft and less. Wind was annoying today.

Fish On! Fishonok.com Ft Gibson. it’s starting to feel like summer out there I can sense a change in the fish here at the grand river as well. We got them good today and pretty short order we boxed up 45 of them up to 7 pounds and I had a great family out everybody was having fun, that’s what it’s all about. Bait was difficult there at Mazie, and we were fishing 8 to 10 feet of water when we got on the fish pretty good.. thanks Gary for organizing the event. Thanks Mason and Marley Matt and Bethany for keeping them on the hook. Water temperatures in the cove was reading about 84 today and about 80 out in the river. We are fishing cut shad cast away from the boat, and things are probably a little more productive when they’re not generating. But they’re going either way

Fish On! fishonok.com I guided a catfish trip on upper end of Ft. Gibson 6-20-24 we boxed a 3 man limit 45 by the time it was done it started getting hot. Got them bagged up and off for home. Thanks Leon enjoyed the crew today we had good fisherman Steve and Matt setting lines and bringing up fish. They started generating while we were fishing which slowed us down a little

Fish On! 6-16-24 Finished up a 6 day series of trips at Ft. Gibson. Rick wanted a load of catfish for company fish fry. We hit a good day had a hot bite boated 30 cleaners before ever moving the boat and we all worked hard to keep them baits on. We racked em up just about every stop it got slower as sun got higher. Deeper holes of water was the ticket today. Last stop was pretty slow but when I cleaned them out we had exactly a 5 man limit. Done. If anyone says the word striper we are headed for skiatook for big hybrids, I’m on some big catfish at Keystone, and I’m on nonstop catching at upper Ft. Gibson for now. Fishonok.com

Fish On! Keystone today we started at 8 so I was leery about spending time on striper that and I’ve had zero time to scout for them. We had a boat load of people to feed as well and a heck of a lot more in camp. At any rate we got lines going for catfish and it was a steady bite it kept us sitting there and it was productive, we got 20 of them fishing 5 to 10ft of very stained water before lunchtime. Also caught 4 big gar and a drum lol. Everything you’d expect on a keystone catfish outing 🙂 at any rate we had a big 12 lb blue several 8 and 6 lb and more smaller ones. Water temps 80plus steady bite was 10ft or more on depth. Cut live gizzard shad. Most important of all Bob and his family got a good excuse to get together and celebrate Father’s Day doing what they love. Bob makes the best jerky known to man by the way and thanks for coming to visit with me again and fish Keystone with very awesome family. Thank you for supporting my service. Yalls probably frying the fish right now thank God for providing. Fish On!
