Fish On! 5-17-24 Ft Gibson got a catfish trip today for Phoenix Insulation. We got started off on a good steady bite in hole above 412 bridge. 15 nice catfish then they started the Generation up at Hudson and I moved around a couple of times trying to pick up a bite and I finally headed on down river and got us on a spot where we caught steady for the rest of the trip. we also caught Fish on the shallow flats of the upper main lake I think about 7 foot of water water temperature was running 69° overall a great day of fishing nothing real big but made up in numbers what we didn’t make in size. 55 blues up to 5 pounds

We fished a variety of conditions from light variable winds to sun and clouds and a short storm. We sheltered and cleaned fish till the rain passed and went on back out in a stiff south wind and hammered out our Hybrid limit along with 18 sandbass and 4 catfish. Thanks John for bringing your family we got a lot of great family photo’s today and fish up to 7lbs. Fishing has been good this season and will stay that way don’t be afraid to book in June even. I’m still fishing ledges and dropoff’s at 30 to 40 ft of water. Live gizzard shad on downlines and freelines. Thanks to everyone that chooses FISH ON!
Fish On! Back to skiatook today. I’m still fishing structure 30 to 40 feet deep. Water temperature is back down to 67/68. Lake level has come up another foot or so. Fishing was great on every stop today. Thank you for choosing my service and coming back to see me again and again. Fishing live Bait we had our limit early on. Total hybrid count today was 35 total Sandbass was 38. Big Fish today was 7.2 pounds.

Skiatook 5-12-24 I guided a morning and afternoon trip yesterday that worked out good on both cases we limited customers in both cases with smaller hybrid being a little harder to find and not a lot of extras on hybrids, but in both outings white bass about 25 of those and a few blues and flathead. Fishing 30 to 40 ft throughout lake. Lake temps are running 71/73 depending on location. Stained water or clear water seems to fish about the same. Fish are in and out of locations daily and even hourly. Morning bite is good. Maybe a little lull midday but afternoon was fantastic 3pm on had some blowups and surfacing. Fish will swarm real fast when you stop the boat and then flip off the bite like a switch, so been having to move and look more than I would like.
