Fish On! I had some customers interested in saugeye fishing and we showed up early to check for Hybrids as well. However I'd think starting about 5:30am would be best for them. We did catch a few hybrid then went on for the Saugeye which was the primary interest and we had to check a couple spots then we found some. Boated 24 saugeye and 23 perch in about 24ft of water had quite a few slip hooks or get away at surface. The bite really turned on about 10am which seems common they were pretty scattered out over open areas just had to keep looking till find some. Perch were biting pretty good today. In fact everything seems to be biting pretty good everywhere. Whoever says fishing in summer is off just isn't fishing lol.
