FishOn! fishonok.com, SKIATOOK today, grateful to have Tim and his family back again. We showed up and got to work and got hammered quickly by some smaller sand bass and a few hybrids. Went looking for bigger fish found those quickly as well. Everybody out there is doing pretty good right now it’s really good so anyway having a good time wrapped up a limit and catch and release a few up to 31 and headed in. Similar to last week downlines were a hot topic. When sun come out a little bit free lines were working great slowly drifting down through the water. I had some pretty small threadfin shad that were living good. And they worked just dandy. Larger gizzard shad work fine as well up to 6 inches. Water temperature 68, Lake didn’t seem very busy and I predict the Fishing will stay good for the foreseeable future. It sure is going to get hotter though. The humidity today was brutal. Most of the larger hybrids we got in 40 foot of water. However 25 and 30 foot of water is working as well wherever they like to congregate at the moment is where you’ll get hit. If you go over them and they fly up off the bottom and look at your boat and stuff you’re in the right spot.
