Fish On! January 16th 2026. Keystone Lake today water temperature 45°. Been about a week again since I’ve been out. We started catching some fish on the first stop and then I had to make a pretty large jump to get back on them. But we found them indeed. Size wasn’t really there today. But we boxed 38 and threw a few back and we had some adult 24 inch fish to go with the smaller ones. I’d say the larger fish were hesitating compared to the smaller ones today. The last hour we did get bigger fish to wrap it up. Things were working best in about 43 to 40 foot of water today. And I was fishing a lot of cut perch to go with some shad. The meat haul was comparable to last weekend yielding 3-4 gallons. The weather sure has been good for Fishing this winter. Thanks Mark for making today possible we’ll see you again soon!
