Fish On! 8-22-24 fishonok.com Tuesday 27 and Wed 28th are next available and its time to go. Thanks David, Doug, and John for booking with my service. Thank YOU! We hit Oologah today started early with cool east breezes and Hybrid and Sandbass were available on sonar by the thousands however wouldn’t take bait very fast. We switched over to fishing handy close brush piles till finally a lightening bolt sent us to shelter. Cleaned 31 crappie some of them very large like 2.5lb fish. 6 white bass, 0 striper. After rain passed we went out to a catfish point I like and they were home. We boxed 21 of those on one stop quickly and left them biting. Very good catfish bite it has been and will stay this way a few weeks! Sandbass/Hybrid were grumpy and in deeper water. Crappie would have bit a lot better if it was sunny but was great anyhow and that is how it is right now. Crappie summer bite is peaking and catfish are off spawn and prowling hungry and searching. Sandbass and hybrid are on and off throughout the day and feed each day. They have a hive mentality fishing thousands and zero or thousand jump on your lure can go either way. Water temps down to 81 again, fishing crappie 8 to 12ft is best. Blues in 15 to 25ft
