Sooner again today. I’ve got openings call me and let’s get one booked we will work around the weather to keep you comfortable. Les and crew for second outing. We were working like a well oiled machine and the fish did their part as well. We sat in one spot for three hours and nearly filled the cooler and then we moved to another spot and got some much larger hybrids. We had 30 of these on each location making 60 hybrids for the men. Also 4 saugeye 2 catfish, 7 drum, and 65 white perch. We didn’t keep everything but we sure filled up the cooler to it wouldn’t close and our large hybrid fish went 6 pounds and we had 3 or 4 close behind it.. I fished at 40 feet and 22 feet today, kept live baits on and chummed a lot. We had a ton of fun! water temperature is 48° from one end of the lake to the other at the surface on average.
Sooner lake today fishing live bait and casting some artificial lures in 15 to 35ft of water. Rounding up 31 nice hybrids and white bass. 39 perch and one 18” saugeye. Thanks Les for choosing my service and bringing out the crew for a corporate trip. Everyone caught on quickly and we had a good time. Fish bite was about half what it was yesterday which really made it just perfect. Also like the fact we caught more than a few on artificial lures. Will see what tomorrow brings.
We had a fun corporate outing on Sooner lake today. The hybrid bite took time and the places I ended up finding them there was nothing on sonar to indicate they were around. I just had to stop and try it. So we had a couple of swing and miss stops and at least three other stops worked out great. We captured at least 150 fish today by rod and reel we released about 50 fish and we cleaned 100 and 63 of them were hybrid Striper. Had 2 magnificent Saugeye pushing 21” Bass, Perch. I’m still fishing about 31 to 37 feet of water. The lake temperature is 48° and were using live bait and downlines mostly. Call me this is amazing fishing.
Had Dwight’s family and friends aboard for Sooner lake. We didn’t find much on the first 2 stops just perch. Did as much looking as I could stand and stopped on some pretty weak sign. However hybrids were around and they got it on. Another 60 Hybrid 3 man limit for each angler. Several nice Saugeye too. They just keep on coming folks. Give me a holler and let’s catch some for you!
Skiatook today and a great day is was with boating 40 hybrids up to 6lbs and several spectacular bonus fish like a 5lb bass and a Walleye pushing that same weight. Also one of the biggest blues i’ve seen caught on this lake didn’t photo that one. I been saying it out to be good, and it was so if your not crazy about Sooner lake then call me and we will give them a shot here!! Fishing 25 to 35 ft and caught hybrid on every stop. Water temp is 50. Artificial worked almost as good as live shad but if you worked the bait right it got more, just had to stay on top of changing them out. Larger baits to keep the perch off help
