Oologah Lake Fishing Guides Report

11-19-19: Fish On. Rick and I made a little trip to Oologah Lake today looking for some Spoonbill/Paddlefish and some Catfish. We found them both. We caught our Paddlefish pretty quick then swithced over to Catfish. We caught 21 Catfish in about three hours. Nothing very big just good cleaners. All of the Blues were caught on fresh cut Shad in 20fow or less. Biggest was about 4lbs. The Spoonbill was caught trolling with divers at about 4mph in 35fow. The biggest Paddlefish was 50lbs. Sooner Lake Fishing Guide

11-16-19: FISH ON!! We had a good day with Michael fishing for Wipers on Sooner Lake. We found some birds diving and got under them first off, then the  birds left and so did the HYbrid/Stripers. We caught several there. But then we started moving around only catching a few more. Then the birds came back and it started all over again. When we ended the morning we had boated 26 Hybrids, 3LMB(biggest was 7lbs) 4 Saugeye and several WP. All were caught in 20fow or less. All on live Shad. Most on downlines and a few on freeelines. Sooner Lake Fishing Guide

11-10-19: FISH ON!!!!! We hada ree lee good day fishing for Hybrids on Sooner Lake with Dale and Danna. It started off as fast as it could get and stayed pretty much that way for a couple hours. We had our two angler limit in two hours(40) and then started catch and release. It did slow down after that and we made a move and caught some more. We pretty much left them biting at the end of the morning after boating 60 nice Hybrids. Big Hybrid for the day was about 4lbs with several of those. Water temp. was 56degs. We were in about 20fow most of the mornning. All but a couple were caught on downlines. All on live shad. See my Facebook page for pics.

Sooner Lake Fishing Guide

11-09-19: FISH ON !!! We had a good day today on Sooner Lake fishing for HYbrid/Stripers with Michael. It started off as fast as it gets and in the first hour Michael had his limit so we started catch and release. It started slowing down and kept going downhill till they left us. We ran around the lake some but never did find the Hungry Wipers again. We caught the Hybrids in 20fow coming thru at about 15'. We did catch a few on freelines but most were on downlines. Water temp. on main lake was 53 degs and on the warm water side it was 59degs. Big fish of the day was a nice 17lb Blue caught on a WP head. All Hybrids were caught on live Shad. At the end of the morning we had boated 33Hybrid/Stripers 4 nice Catfish and several WP. See my Facebook page for pics.

Fort Gibson Spoonbill

11-02-19: FISH ON: Larry and I made a scout trip to Fort Gibson today looking for some Spoonbill/Paddlefish. We found some, we just couldn't get them in the boat. We found the Paddlefish in about 35fow and we were trolling at about 4mph with Dipsy Divers. After missing a few we decided it was time to go eat lunch so that was the end of our Spoonbill trip. Sooner Lake Fishing Guide

11-01-19: FISH ON We had kinda of a slow but good day on Sooner Lake fishing for HYbrid/Stripers with Josh and friends. The Wipers were pretty scattered out. We had to make a few stops to find the Hungry Hybrids. We did not find them where they had been. Today they were in 20fow or less. We caught several by casting tthe freelines up into the shallow water.  Along with the Hybrids we caught some reel nice LMB also up to 5lbs. We finished the morning having boated 15 Hybrids and 5LMB and a few Catfish. Water temp. is 57degs. We caught most of the fish on freelines in 20fow or less. All on live Shad. Sooner Lake Fishing Guide

10-31-19: FISH ON! We had kind of a slow day on Sooner Lake with Bryce, family and friends. It was very cold when we started and did not get much better. We did find some Hangry Hybrids along with several Catfish. We found the Wipers in 31 to 35fow. All were caught on downlines on small Shad. Nothing very big. Big fish was a nice 11lb Blue with a few more close behind. The HYbrid/Stripers were hanging out at 20ft but the Catfish were a couple cranks off of the bottom. Water temp dropped to 57degs.  We ended the morning with 21 Hybrid/Stripers and 6 Catfish. See my Facebook page for pics.

Sooner Lake Fishing Guide

10-28-19: FISH ON!!! We had a ree lee good day today fishing for Hybrid/Stripers on Sooner Lake with Zig and family. We found the Hybrid/Stripers on our first stop and it was fast and furious for awhile. Once they moved on so did we and found the Hangry Hybrids again. It was pretty much the same as the first stop. We would catch several wipers and then they would move on. We made our third stop and found the Wipers again. We had several doubles and triples. Nothing very big, just good Hangry ones. At the end of the morning we had boated 49 Hybrids and some Catfish. We caught most on downlines, all were caught on live bait. We caught them in 31 to 51 fow. Water temp. is 60degs.    10-27-19: FISH ON!!!!! Another ree lee good day on Sooner Lake with Bill and his son Try fishing for Hybrid/Stripers. It started off as fast as it could get and stayed that way most of the morning. When the Hangry Hybrids would move so would we and find a good school again and it would start all over. Nothing very big, most were two to four lbs. When we ended the morning we had boated 67 Wipers. Some on freelines but most on downlines. We caught them in 34 to 51 fow. but the Hybrids were coming thru at 18 to 20ft. Water emp. is 61degs. See my Facebook page for pics.

10-26-19: FISH ON!!!!. We had a reel lee good day on Sooner Lake today fishing for Hybrid/Stripers with Mike and friends. It started out alittle slow then we made a couple moves and found the Hangry Wipers. Nothing reel big today, most were bewteen 2 to 4lbs. We did catch one reel nice Blue that weighed 17lbs. We found the Hybrids in 30 to 34fow. We caught several on freelines and alot on downlines. Water temp. has dropped to 60degs. At the end of the morning we had boated 61 HYbrid/Stipers. 10-22-19: FISH ON!!!! We had a good day today with Trey and friends fishing for Hybrid/Stripers on Sooner Lake. It started out ok and just stayed that way most of the morning with a few fluries mixed in. We had to make several stops but at the end of the morning we had boated 35 pretty nice Wipers. Most of the Hybrids came on downlines but a few early on did come on freelines. We were fishing in 25 to 40fow. Most of the Hybrid/Stripers were coming thru at 20ft. Big Wiper for the day was 5lbs. 10-19-19: FISH ON!!!!!  We had a reel lee good day on Sooner Lake fishing for HYbrid/Stripers with Bryce and Tim. It started off pretty good but that group of Wipers moved on so we went lookiing. We made a couple more stops with just a few more Hybrid/Stripers, but on our last stop we hit a HUGE school of Hangry Hybrids. We finished up on that stop having boated 55 nice Wipers. Most were caught on downlines on live Shad. We caught them in 23 to 54fow. Water temp. is 66degs. Big Hybrid/Striper was 4lbs. See my Facebook page for details.

Sooner Lake Fishing Guide

10-17-19: FISH ON!!!!! We had a reel lee good day today on Sooner Lake fishing for HYbrids with MIchael and family. It started out alittle slow with nothing but White Perch. We made a move to alittle deeper water and found the Hangry Wipers. Once that group of Hybrids moved on so did we. We found the Hangry Hybrids again but this time in deeper water yet. These were bigger and Hangery er. We ended the morning after four hours having boated 67 pretty nice Hybrid/Stripers. We caught them on freelines and downlines all on live bait. Water temp. is 66degs. We caught the Wipers in 30 to 51fow (coming thru at 20ft).  Big Hybrid was about 4lbs with several of those. See my Facebook page for pics.

10-16-19 FISH ON!!! We Had a good day today on Sooner Lake with Matt,Tom and Kenneth fishing for HYbrid/Stripers. It started out reel good and then the Wipers left so we made a move and found some Hangry ones again. It was non stop again for awhile then they left. After that we just kinda pecked away at them the rest of the day. We ended the morning having boated 35 nice Wipers up to 4lbs.We caught the Hybrids in 25 to 45fow. Water temp. is 68degs. 10-15-19: FISH ON! We had a Ok day with John and Louise on Sooner Lake fishing for Hybrid/Stripers. It started off pretty good and then slowed down.The wind started shifting from south to west to no wind then hard out of north. Once the wind started hard out of North the fish quit biting all together. We ended the morning with 20 nice HYbrids and a bunch of WP. Water temp. is 69degs. We were caught the wipers in 20 to 40fow. Big Hybrid was about 4lbs. All were caught on doownlines on live Shad.See my Facebook page for pics.

Sooner Lake Fishing Guide

10-14-19: FISH ON!!!!!!! We had a great day today on Sooner Lake fishing for HYbrid/Stripers with Bod and David. It started out as fast as it could get and stayed that way most of the morning. We had our two man limit in the first two hours(40), then decided to go look for some Catfish. But all we found were some more Hangry Hybrids. We started catch and release and after about four hours we had boated 88 Wipers plus White Perch. We never did find any Catfish today. Water temp. is now 68degs, We caught the Hybrid/Stripers in 21 to 38 fow of water almost all on downlines. Big Wiper was about 5lbs. See my Facebook Page for pics.

Sooner Lake Fishing Guide

10-13-19: FISH ON!!!!!! We had a reel lee good day on Sooner today with Brent and friends fishing for Hybrid/Stripers. Our fist stop produced some White Perch and then they moved out and the Hangry Hybrids moved in. We caught several there and when they moved on we moved alittle bit and got the Wipers again. Once they slowed down we went looking again and found some reel hungry ones. It was non stop for while then it slowed down to just steady. Nothing reel big today, the biggest Hybrid/Striper was about 5lbs and big Catfish was 4lbs. We caught the Hybrid/stripers in 20 to 32fow. We caught them on freelines and downlines. All but a few were caught on live Shad. Water temp. is 69degs.When the morning was over we had boated 65 Hybrid/Stripers. See my Facebook page for pics

Sooner Lake

FISH ON!!! We had a good day today with Tyler and family fishing for Hybrid/Stripers on Sooner Lake. We had to make a coouple stops before we found the active Wipers but once we did it got going pretty good for awhile. After that flurry we made a few more stop picking away at Hybrids. At the end of the morning we had boated 30 Hybrid/Stripers a couple Catfish and several White Perch. All were caught on live Shad. Some were caught on downlines and some on freeline. We were in about 25 to 35fow most of the day. Water temp. is now 70degs. Big Wiper was about 4lbs and big Catfish was 6 lbs. See my Facebook page for pics.

Port O Connor TX

10-06-08-19 : Fish on. Made a trip to Texas coast with my son and a couple friends to find some big fish. We didn't find any Bull Reds this year, but we foound some big fish. Caught several big Jacks up to 35lbs and some nice Sharks up to around 125lbs(we did not weigh the Sharks). It was a Ok trip for there but not as good as some. We found the fish in 15 to 35fow most were caught on cut Mullet. See my Facebook page for pics and videos of the whole trip.

Skiatook lake Fishing Guides

10-04-19: Fish on. We had a ok day today fishing for HYbrids with Mark and friends on Skiatook lake. We didnt catch as many Hybrids as we would of like to of, but the Catfish made up for it. The Kittys were very active today. We ended the day with 33 fish with the majority being Catfish but several Hybrids also. We caught them in 25 to 30fow all on live Shad. Water temp. is 78degs. big Blue Was about 4lbs and big Wiper was about 3lbs. See my Facebook page for pics.
