Skiatook lake Fishing Guides

03-25-20: FISH ON!!!! Rick and I made a scout trip to Skiatook today looking for some hungry Wipers. It took awhile to find a good group of the Hybrids but when we did they were Hangry. We had been moving alot so when we found them we were getting low on bait. We picked away at them most of the morning but then the last stop was payday. We found the Wipers in 14 to 58fow. Most were good size with the biggest about 5lbs. The Hybrids wanted the smaller baits. Water temp ranged from 52 degs to 55degs denpending where we were on  Skiatook lake. We ended the day having boated 25 Wipers and 5 Catfish. See my Facebook page for pics.

River Fishing

03-23-20: FISH ON: Bryce took me Catfishing in his Jet Drive boat and we had a reel good time. We didnt get started till in the afternoon and only fished alittle over two hours, but that was enought time to put 31 pretty nice Catfish in the boat. Biggest was about 12lbs. Most were just good cleaners. We caught them on cut bait and live bait. They seemed to like the cut bait better. There was a pretty good current from the dam release. Water temp. was 55degs.  We were in about 5 to 15fow. See my Facebook page for pics.

Oologah Lake Fishing Guides Report

03-21-20: We had a pretty slow day today fishing for Spoonbill on Oologah Lake with Bryce and friends. It took us ahile to find the Paddlefish and when we did they were all on the small side. Water temp. is 55degs and murky and about 6' high. We caught of the ones we caught in about 30 to 40fow.  Big Spoonbill was about 35lbs See my Facebook page for pics.

Fort Gibson Spoonbill

03-14-20: FISH ON We had a slow day today fishing for Spoonbill/Paddlefish with Austin and Sabre. It started out pretty good with us catching some then they started releasing a bunch of water and thats when the Paddlefish reel lee scattered. The Spoonbill had moved up some in the lake from where they had been. Water temp. is 51degs. Big Spoonbill was 40lbs. See my Facebook page for pics.

Fort Gibson Spoonbill

03-12-20: FISH ON!!!! I took Thai out this morning Spoonbill fishing on Fort Gibson and we had a reel good time. It took alittle bit of running to find the Spoonbill. But when we did it was worth it. We found the Paddlefish in about 30 to 35fow. Big Spoonbill for the morning was 50lbs. Thai was ready to quit after just a couiple hours but not before he had boated 5 nice Spoonbill. All were between 30 to 50lbs. Water temp. is ging up. Water temp. is now 52degs. See my Facebook page for pics.

Fort Gibson Spoonbill

03-03-20: FISH ON! We had a pretty good day on Fort Gibson today fishing for Spoonbill and Catfish with Walt and friends. The Corp was running a bunch of water today and it really had the Spoonbill scattered. We finally found some but not any very big. The biggest today was 36lbs, but the rest were a bout the same size. We ended the Paddlefish part having boated 7. So we went Catfishing for awhile. That worked out OK but the current was effecting that also. We ended up with a good mess. The biggest Catfish was 9lbs. Water temp. is 47degs. We were trolling in 30 to 45fow for the Paddlefish. We caught the Catfish on a ledge casting cut Shad into 25fow. See my Facebook page for pics.

Fort Gibson Spoonbill

03-01-20: FISH ON:!!! We had another Reel lee good day on Fort Gibson fishing for Paddlefish. It started off alittle slow. We made a move and found the Spoonbill scattered but very catachable. We were trolling Magnum divers at about 4mph in 30 to 37fow. Water temp. is 46degs. Big Spoonbill for the day was 46lbs but several more close behind. In alittle under 4 hours we caught 16 nice spoonbill/Paddlefish. See my Facebook page for pics.

Fort Gibson Spoonbill

2-29-20: FISH ON!!! We had a reel lee good dy today with Darrin and family fishing for Spoonbill. It started out alittle slow anda bunch of boats moved in so we decided to make a move after had caught a couple there. It ended up being a reel good move. We were the only boat in the area and the Paddlefish were pretty thick. We ended up catching 19 in a little over four hours. Biggest was 54lbs. We were trolling magnum divers in 30 to35fow at about 4mph. Water temp. is 46degs. See my Facebook page for pics

River Fishing

02-26-20: FISH ON!! Bryce and I made a quick trip to the river today. It worked out pretty good. We caught several nice Stripers up to 9lbs and a bunch on nice Blues up to 10lbs. Thye were pretty scattered out. We would move and catch a couple then move again. We were catching them on live and cut Shad cast away from the boat. We were in 5 to 10fow. Water temp. is 42degs. Fort Gibson Spoonbill

02-25-20: FISH ON John and I made a trip to Fort Gibson today looking for some Spoonbill. It took us several stops but when we found they were willing to play. Lost count but we left when John got tited of catching. The water temp. is up to 47degs. There was alot of current. Big Spoonbill for the day was about 50lbs with several more in the 40'S We caught the Paddlefish pulling divers at about 4mph. See my Facebook page for pics.

Oologah Lake Fishing Guides Report

02-22-20: FISH ON!!!! We had a reel good day today with Levi and friends on Oologah fishing for Spoonbills. It started out pretty good with a big fish on that ended up pulling the pole in the water. We caught a few more there then moved around quite a bit picking up some on just about every stop. Most were between 30 to 40lbs. We ended up back were we had started to see if they had grouped back up. We caught once decent one and then we got another one on. But it just wasnt a Spoonbill we had actually hooked our pole that went in the water 5 hours earlier and the Spoonbill was still on. It ended up being the big fish of the day at 47lbs. Oologah Lake Fishing Guides Report

02-16-20 FISH ON!! We had a good day today on Oologah Lake with Lauren and Tyler. The Spoonbill were alittle scatter but after a few stops we found some pretty good ones. We caught 8 then went looking for some Catfish. We madem one stop on those and that was all that was needed. When we ended the morning we had caught several Spoonbill with the biggest being 40lbs and the biggest Catfish was 12lbs. 02-08-20: FISH ON!!! I took the Talbot brothers out today. Thye came from the Whicita area to enjoy some Oologah Spoonbill fishing. It took a little bit to find some bunched up. When we did they were good ones. We ended the morning of Spoonbill fishing with a double of 45lbers. So we went Catfishing. We didnt do as good on them. We did catch a mess but not a hole lot. Oologah Lake Fishing Guides Report

02-01-20: FISH ON!!! We had a reel lee good day today on Oologah with Levi and friends. We started out Paddlefishing and they were willing to play today. We caught several between 30 to 38lbs. We kept moving to try and find a 50lber and we finally found a 52lber. By then we had boated 15 other Spoonbill. We left those and went and found some Catfish. They wern't quite as cooperative. We made three stops and found them on our third stop. We left them biting Big Catfish was about 6lbs. We caught all of the Spoonbill/Paddlefish while trolling divers at about 4mph. We caught the Catfish on fresh cut Shad cast away from the boat in about 15fow. Water temp. is 42degs. See my Facebook page for pics.

Oologah Lake Fishing Guides Report

01-26-20: FISH ON!!! We had a good day today on Oologah Lake with Paul and Ralph. we found the Spoonbill/Paddlefish and it just stayed pretty consistent most of the morning. We kept moving around looking for some big girls but never did find them. We did find some reel nice males up to 38lbs. Most were between 30 and 35lbs. We fished for those alittle longer than normal so that didn't leave much time for Catfishing. We did catch some Catfish but not very many. We missed way more than we caught. Biggest Catfish was 7lbs. We caught the Spoonbill trolling divers in about 40fow. We caught the Catfish in 20fow all on fresh cut Shad cast away from the boat. See my Facebook page for pics.

Oologah Lake Fishing Guides Report

FISH ON!!  I went fishing with Larry and Bryce today. We had a Ok day. We were out looking for Catfish and Spoonbill/Paddlefish. We found both. We fouynd the Paddlefish in about 50fow pulling divers at about 4mph. We found the Catfish in 15 to 20fow. All were caught on fresh cut Shad. Big Spoonbill for the day was 50lbs. We found several Catfish but nothing very big. Big Catfish was 5lbs. Water temp. is 42 degs. See my Facebook page for pics.

Oologah Lake Fishing Guides Report

01-18-20: FISH ON!!! We had a good day today fishing for Spoonbill/Paddlefish with the guys from Madill Oklahoma. We started out fishing for the Spoonbill. The wind was blowing about 25mph and made things kinda difficult. However we still manged some reel nice Paddlefish. We caught five in the two hours we fished for them with two of those being 50lb females and a couple more in the 30's. We kept some of those so went after some Blues. The Blues did not cooperate as well. We did manage some with the biggest about 6lbs. We missed several for some reason. The Spoonbill were caught in about 35fow trolling divers. The Blues were caught in 12fow on fresh cut Shad cast away from the boat. Water temp. is 43degs. See my Facebook page for pics.

Oologah Lake Fishing Guides Report

01-14-20: FISH ON!!  Rick and I made a trip to Oologah today looking for some Spoonbill/Paddlefish. We found some pretty good ones. We found the Spoonbill/Paddlefish in 25 to 50fow pulling divers. The biggest was 46lbs with the others close to that also. After a couple hours of Spoonbilling we went Catfishing. We found  those also just not as good as it had been. The Blues all were on the small side. All were between 2 to 3lbs. We found most of those in about 20fow. We caught those on fresh cut Shad cast away from the boat. Water temp. is 46degs. Fort Gibson Spoonbill

01-13-20: FISH ON!! John and I made a quick trip to Fort Gibson today looking for some Spoonbill/Paddlefish. We found them in about 40fow. They were really stacked up when we first started. But I did not have the divers at the right depth. Once i got that figured out they started coming over the side of the boat. We ended up catching 8 Spoonbill/Paddlefish in the 3 hours we fished. The only problem was they just wern't very big. Biggest was about 40lbs with the rest between 20 and 40lbs. We caught them using divers going about 4mph. Most of the time we were in 40 to 50fow. Oologah Lake Fishing Guides Report

01-07-20: FISH ON!!!! We had a reel good day today with Alan and Lindsey on Oologah lake. We started out Catfishing and did pretty good. It started out slow and then picked up pretty good to where we left them biting to go Spoonbill/Paddlefishing. But not before we had landed 15 pretty nice Catfish up to 9 lbs. We ended up Spoonbill/Paddlefishing for the last couple of hours and did pretty good at that also. We caught six with the biggest being 40lbs. We caught all of the Catfish on fresh cut Shad in 20fow on lines cast away from the boat. We caught the Spoonbill trolling with divers in about 35fow. Water temp is 46degs.
