05-19-18: FISH ON!!!! We had another reel good morning with Jason and family. We got on the Hybrids pretty quick and caught some, made a little move to little deeper water and it was non stop for awhile. After it setted down we had our five angler limit. Jason decided to call it quits for the morning. We caught our Hybrid/Stripers in 24 to 28fow. All were caught on live Shad. All were caught on downlines. Water temp. is 76degs. 05-18-18: FISH ON!!!!!  We ad another really good day on Skiatook fishing for Hybrid/Stripers. We had some flurries of the Hybrid/Stripers coming thru but mostly it was just real steady. They wanted nothing but live Shad today. I tried cut bait but they didnt want it. We eventually ran out of bait just about quiting time. Most were caught on downlines in 20fow on live shad. Big Hybrid/Striper for the day was 7lbs. Water temp. is 77degs. See my Facebook page for pics.

05-17-18: FISH ON!!!!!!!!!!! We had the best day of the year today on Skiatook Lake fishing for HYbrid/Stripers with a great family. We caught about of the Hybrids on our first stop then when they left us there we had  to make a move. We ended up more than doubling our count in a hour on that move. Big Hybrid for the day was 7.6lbs we caught most in about 20fow some on cut bait and some on live shad. Some on downlines and some on freelines. Water temp. is 75degs. See my Facebook page for pics.

05-16-18: FISH ON!!!  Another reel good day on Skiatook. It started out alittle slow again, but I did some chumming and that really turned them on. But the first group of Hybrids were on the small side. We moved to alittle deeper water and they got  bigger. We moved out deeper and found some reel good ones. Big Hybrid for the day was a nice 7lbs. We ended the day with our four man limit plus double that atleast. They seemd to want live Shad today, but we did catch a few on cut bait. We were in 19 to 28fow. Water temp. is 72 degs. See my Facebook page for pics.

05-13-18: FISH ON!!! Another  reel good day on Skiatook. It took alittle bit again to get them started but once they did it was pretty steady for awhile.We got our limit on size and numbers pretty quick but once that spot dryed up we made a move and found the big guys. That spot produced a reel nice 10lber with some more pretty close behind. It was a mixture today on what they wanted. Some wanted cut bait others wanted live bait on downlines. The bigger Hybrids seemed to want the cut bait on freelines. We were in 18 to 35fow. Water temp. is 71degs. See my Facebook page for pics.

05-12-18: FISH ON!!!! We had another really good day on Skiatook today with a great family. It was fast and furious from the start and stayed that way for about three hours. We had a four angler limit in the fist half hour on size and numbers. The big guys were out today. We caught two that weighed 9lbs with some moore close behind. The difference today from yesterday was today they wanted live Shad. When we ended the morning I had five Shad left. Most today were caught on downlines in 22fow on live Shad. Water temp. is 71degs. 05-11-18:  FISH ON!!!! We had a nother really good day on Skiatook fishing for Hybrid/Stripers. It started out a little slow then it really icked up. The HYbrid/Stripers seem to just want cut bait today. So thats what we gave them. I pulled all of the downlines in and just put freelines out with cut bait. The wind really picked up about 10:30 so we called it a day. We caught alot of really nice Hybrid/Stripers. biggest today was 7lbs with several 5's and 6's. Almost all were on cut bait on freelines. 05-10-18: FISH ON!! The big guys and gals were out playing today. It was double time for the first couple of hours then slowed down to real steady. Dale caught the biggest fish of the year so far at 10.8lbs. But we had another that was actually longer but it was pretty skinny. We caught the Hybrid/Stripers on cut bait and live shad. At first they seemed to want the cut bait on freelines then switched back to live bait. We caught the Hybrid/Stripers on downlines and freelines. Cut bait and live bait. We were in 21fow. 05-09-18: FISH ON!!! We had absoutly great day on the lake. It started out as fast as it can get and stayed that way for the four hours we fished. We found the fish in about 25fow.The Hybrid/Stripers were mixed in with Sandbass and Catfish. We caught the majority of the fish on cut bait on downlines under the boat. We ended the morning with about 65 Hybrid/Stripers plus  Catfish and Sandbass. We did loose one Ugly sick to a nice Hybrid/Striper. Water temp is about 68degs depending on time of day. 05-08-18: FISH ON!!!! We had a AWESOME  morning on Skiatook Lake fishing for HYbrid/Stripers. It started out with doubles and triples and then settled down to reel steady. After the first hour we had our limit on size and numbers. We found the Hybrid/Stripers in 25fow. Almost all were caught on live Shad. We did catch a few on cut bait. The Hybrids were definitly reacting to the chum I put in the water.We caught them on downlines and freelines. Water temp. is 68degs. Big Hybrid/Striper was 7lbs and a big bonus was a reel nice 6.8lb Walleye. See my Facebook page for pics.

05-05-18: We had a Ok day on Skiatook today fishing for Hybrid/Stripers. It started out real slow then we finally found some reel decent ones in 6fow. And some decent Catfish were mixed in with them. We fisnished the day with some nice size Hybrid/Stripers and Catfish. We caught everything on cut bait in 2 to 6fow. Water temp. is from 60 to 63degs. See my Facebook page for pics.

05-04-18: We had a slow day on skiatook today fishing for Hybrid/Stripers. It started out ok and then slowed down to almost nothing. We did manage a few more the rest of the morning but not many. The ones we caught were in about 15fow. Water temp. on the N end of the lake is 64degs and muddy. On the S end it is 59degs and clear. Big Hybrid for the day was 4lbs. All were caught on live Shad. 04-30-18: FISH ON We had our best day of the year so far on Skiatook Lake fishing for Hybrid/Stripers. It started out reel good with the first Hybrid of the morning being a reel nice 7lber. It just satyed steady for most of the morning. We found the Hybrids in about 10fow. We did move a couple times but the pattern was the same. We stayed in about 10 fow using freelines with split shot and live Shad. We ended the morning with our limit on size and numbers plus a few more, along with some Catfish,Smb and lmb. We had a couple 7's, 6's and 5's for big fish. Water temp. is 62degs. See my Facebook page for pics.

04-29-18: We had a good day on Skiatook Lake. It started out a little slow but then we found a pretty good school that stuck around for awhile. Once they moved on so did we. We found some reel nice Hybrid/Stripers in about 10fow. Along with some pretty nice smallmouth. We caught the Hybrid/Stripers in 22 to 10fow. Most on live shad but some on cut bait. Some on freelines and some on downlines. Water temp. varied from 59 to 63degs. Big Hybrid/Striper was about 5lbs with some more close behind. See my Facebook page for pics.

04-28-18: We had a good day on Skiatook Lake fishing for Hybrid/Stripers. We started out trolling with planner boards and ballons. That did not work very well so we switched to some down lines. We found a good bunch of Hybrid/Stipers and they hung around for awhile. We caught some pretty nice ones there and then went looking for some others. We did not find any so we went back where we had been. We finished up there with the big fish of the day. Big fish was a nice 6.8lbs and some more close behind. We caught the Hybrid/Stripers in 22fow. Water temp. is 62degs. All were caught on live shad. See my Facebook page for pics.

04-27-18: We had a slow day on Skiatook fishing for Hybrid/Stripers. It started out with us just pecking away at them, then it slowed down to almost nothing. We caught all on planners boards or ballons. We were in 10 to 15fow. Water temp. was 58 to 61 degs. All were caught on live bait. big fish was 5lbs. See my Facebook page for pic.

Fort Gibson Sandbass

04-24-18: FISH ON We had the best day of the year today on Fort Gibson fishing for Sandbass. We were only planning on fishing 4 hours. Arthur had to leave at noon. We started at 0830 and by 1030 we had a hundred Sandbass. The rest of the time I spent cleaning fish. We found them in 13fow. It was a good mix of females and males. They were very aggressive. All were caught on live bait either Shad or large minnows. Water temp. is 60degs. See my Facebook page for pics.

04-21-18: We had a pretty good day on Skiatook. Larry Wine and I did  a two boat trip for Jessie and family.We found the Hybrid/Stripers pretty quick and then it was just steady the rest of the morning. The rain came down pretty hard and got most  wet and cold but everyone stuck it our till we had our limits. We caught Hybrid/Stripers on Planner boards.freelines, and a few on downlines. Spoonbill/Paddlefish on Fort Gibson

04-20-18: We did a four boat trip today for Sandbass on Fort Gibson and it turned out reel good. Everyone caught alot of Sandbass. Most were caught on live Shad but some were caught trolling. We were in 10fow. Water temp. is 56degs. All that we caught were males. See my Facebook page for pics.

04-18-18: Rick and I made a quick morning trip to Skiatook Lake to see if we could find some Hungry Hybrid/Stripers. We found them. The wind was howling so it did limit us on where we could fish. But we found the Hybrid/Stripers in about 15fow. All were caught on freelines and planner boards. Water temp. varied some, but was around 54degs. Big Hybrid/Striper was about 4lbs.
