Keystone lake Fishing Report

07-22-19: FISH ON We had a pretty good day fishing for Stripers on Keystone Lake. It started off alittle slow but then we made a move and found Hangry ones. We found the Stripers in about 21 to 33fow. We caught all of the Stripers on downlines on live Shad. Water temp. is 86degs. We missed a bunch. They would pull the rod tip into the water and then they would be gone. The quanity wasnt there today but the quaiity was. Big Striper for the day was a reel nice 13lbs. 07-20-19: Fish On: Larry Wine and I did a two boat trip today on Skiatook Lake. We both came up a few short on the Hybrids of having our five man limits. Our big Hybriod for the day was about 5lbs. The Hybrid/Stripers seemed to like the downlines alittle better than the last couple of trips. We found the Wipers in 31fow. Water temp. is 87degs. All were caughton live Shad. 07-19-19: FISH ON!!! We had a reel good day fishing with Tyler and his family today on Skiatook lake for Hybrids. We only made one short move and that was enough to stay on the Hybrid/Stripers most of the morning. The Wipers were Hangry today. Not sure what was different from today and yesterday but today they were hungry. I saw just as many fish today on the locator as I did yesterday but something made a difference. We caught them on downlines and freelines on live Shad. We were in 31fow. Water temp. is 87 degs.Big Hybrid was aboout 5lbs. See my Facebook page for pics.

07-18-19: We had a slow day today fishing for Hybrids on skiatook Lake with Jerrry and his friends. It started off slow and stayed that way all morning. We did catch some Wipers but not very many. We had several more up to the boat but then they would just come off. We found the ones we caught in 32fow. Some were on downlines and some on freelines. All were caught on live Shad. 07-17-19: FISH ON! We had a good day today fishing for HYbrids on Skiatook Lake with Steve and friends. It wasn't as good as it was earlier in the week but still a good day. We just kind of pecked away at them all morning. We missed several as they would come off on the way to the boat. We ended the morning having boated 20 nice Wipers up to 6 lbs, and 20 Catfish with the biggest about 4lbs. Water temp. is 87degs. we caught them in 32fow. Most on freelines but some on downlines. 07-15-19: FISH ON!!! We had a ree lee good day on Skiatook today fishing with Mike and Family for Hybrid/Stripers. It started out as fast as it could get and it stayed that way for about three hours. When it was over we had boated 49nice Hybrids up to 9lbs. We made two stops but the first was by far the best. It seems to be a early bite and once the sun came up good the Wipers slowed down. Most of the HYbrids were caught on freelines. All on live bait. We were in 33fow. Water temp. is 85degs. See my Facebook page for pics.

07-14-19: FISH ON!!!  Finally anbother reel lee good day on Skiatook fishing for HYbrid/Stripers with Bob and Friends. We go a good early start and it payed off. The HYbirds were waiting for us.  We caught the biggest majority on freelines with live Shad. The Wipers had some reel lee good size. We had three 6lbers. With more close behind. We found the Hybrids in about 30fow.  Water temp. is 86 degs. We ended the morning with 41 reel nice Hybrid/Stripers. See my Facebook page foir pics.

07-11-19: We had a ok day today on Skiatook with Rick and family. It started off pretty good with alot of surface action and us catching some pretty nice Hybrid/Stripers. Then it started slowing down. Im not sure we caught another Wiper after 09:30. The HYbrids we caught were mostly on the good side. We had a couple 5's and some more close behind. 07-09-19 We had a very slow day today fishing for Hybrids on Skiatook Lake. It started off slow and stayed that way all morning. We caught several Catfish but never did catch a Hybrid/Striper. We tried alittle bit of everything. Shallow water, deep water, live bait cut bait. freelines and downlines. Nothing worked for the Wipers. We ended the morning though with a good mess of Catfish. 07-05-19: FISH ON!! We had a good day today on Skiatook fishing for HYbrid/Stripers with Trent and family. It started out pretty steady and just stayed that way most of the morning. We only had to make one move. The Hybrids were pretty Hangry today. We caught several 5plus lbers. Big Hybrid for the day was 6lbs. They liked cut bait for awhile on freelines then switched to live shad on freelines. We also caught several on downlines. 07-04-19: Fish On!!  We had a good day today on Skiatook today fishing for Hybrid/Stripers. It started off alittle slow and then we just kind of pecked away at the Wipers the rest of the morning. Our last stop produced the best and the biggest. We caught two 7lbers and a couple 6's and 5's all off of the one spot. They seemd to want a little bit of everything today. from cut bait on freelines to cut bait on downlines and live shad on freelines and downlines. Water temp. is 84dges. We found the Hybrid/Stripers in 25 to 33fow. We caught our limit of Hybrids and about 15 Catfish. See my Facebook page for for pics.

07-03-19: We had a slow but good day today fishing with Bob and Annett for HYbrid/Stripers on Skiatook. It started off reel slow and never got going very good except for about a hour during mid morning. During that hour Bob was able to land a reel nice 8lb Wiper plus several more nice Wipers. We caught most on downlines but we did catch a few on freelines. Water temp. is 85 degs. We caught the Hybrid/Stripers in 32fow all on live Shad. We did catch some Catfish also. Big Catfish was 7lbs. 07-01-19: Fish On. We had a pretty good day today fishing for HYbrid/Stripers with Joyce and Brandi. It started out very slow but we kept making some moves and finally found the  Wipers and Catfish.  We found them in 32fow. Big Hybrid for the day was 6lbs. 06-29-19: FISH ON Kind of a slow but good day. It started out like the house was on fire, but after about a hour it slowed down and we just pecked away at them. We ended up with a pretty good mess of Hybrid/Stripers. We caught our limit plus several more. Nothing very big today. 4lbs was the biggest. We found the Wipers in 25 to 32fow. Water temp. is rising. 06-27-19: FISH ON  We had a good day today on Skiatook Lake fishing for Wipers with Dana and Dale. We never did really get into the Hybrids real good but it was just pecking away at them. The last  stop was the best. The quality was very very good. We had several 5 to 6lbers with 6.8lbs being the biggest. We found them in 28 to 32fow. All were caught on live Shad. 06-26-19: FISH ON!!! We had another good day today on Skiatook Lake fishing for HYbrids with Josh and friends. We did not do as good as we did yesterday but did good. The Hybrid/Stripers would bite for awhile and then they would quit. They seemed to still be there but wouldn't bite anymore. So we moved and went the thru the same thing on just about every stop. But when we ended the morning we had caught 30 Wipers. It was the same pattern on every stop. We found them in 27 to 30fow.. Big Wiper for the day was 5lbs with lots of 3 to 4lbs. 06-25-19: FISH ON!!!  We had a reel lee good day today on Skiatook fishing for Hybrids. We found the Hangry Wipers on our first stop and had our limit in a little over a hour so we went to releasing. After that spot played out we made one more move and that was enough. We ended the day having boated 51 (plus 5 Catfish)nice Hybrid/Stripers with the biggest being 6lbs. We had several 5's also. We were catching them in 26 to 32fow. All were caught on live Shad. Water temp. is around 80degs. See my Facebook page for pics.

06-24-19: FISH ON!!!!! We had a good day on Skiatook Lake today fihsing for HYbrid/Stripers with Dewayne and his daughter. It started out alittle slow but we made a move and found some Hangry Wipers. We had alot come off on the way to the boat today. Nothing reel big. 5lbs was the biggest but they all had alot of attitude. Water temp. is now 79degs. 06-20-19: FISH ON!!!!  I was finally able to get back on Skiatook Lake today after a month of high water. Good friend Keith went with me looking for some hungry Hybrids and we found them. It took a couple stops to find the Hybrid/Stripers, but when we did the Wipers were very Hangry. We found them in 30fow almost all were right on bottom. We did catch a few on a freeline out the back. Most were reel good size. Biggest was 5lbs with some more close behind. All were caught on live Shad. Water temp. is 78 degs. See my Facebook page for pics.

Sooner Lake

06-11-19: FISH ON:  Finally, Rick and I made a scout trip this morning to Sooner Lake looking for some Hybrids,  and it turned out pretty good. It started off  slow and then on about our 4th stop we found the Wipers. The Hybrid/Stripers were hiding in 65fow. And they were Hangry. They did not have real good size but they made up for it with attitude. We caught all of HYbrids on downlines about 4 cranks off of the bottom. All were caught on small live Shad.
