Sooner Lake

11-16-18: FISH ON!!!!!! Rick and I decided to make a trip to Sooner Lake while the HYbrid action was HOT. It started out ok but not up to what it had been. We caught Hybrids on each stop but just not alot. We made another move and that was our last one needed. We found a reel lee good group in only 13 fow. We stayed there the rest of the morning and left them biting after we had caught 61 nice Hybrids. Big fish for the day was a nice 12lb blue with another one close behind. Big Hybrid was about 5lbs with most being 2 to 4lbs. Water temp. was 58degs on warm side. All were caught on down lines. From 32fow to 13fow. See my Facebook page for pics and video.

Sooner Lake

11-15-18: FISH ON!!!! We had a absolute awesome day on Sooner Lake today. It was the best day of the year, so far. We went looking for the Hybrids on the cold side, tried one spot without any takers. Looked at a few more spots on the cold side and did not see a fish. We went to the warm side and found the mother load in about 32fow. All of the Hybrids were coming thru at about 20ft. If you were above or below you didnt catch a HYbrid. We fished that spot for about 3 hours and caught 92 Hybrids. biggest was about 5lbs with several of those. All were caught on live Shad and most on downlines. Water temp. on warm side was 53degs. See my Facebook page for pics.

Sooner Lake

11-08-18:FISH ON!!!! We had a very cold wet and windy day today on Sooner Lake, It started off like the house was on fire then settled down to barley steady. We had to move quit a bit more than I had been the last couple of weeks. We ended the day with 40 nice Hybrids. Biggest Hybrid was 5lbs. We caught most in 30 to 39fow. Water temp. is 59 degs. Skiatook Lake

11-06-18: FISH ON!!!! Rick and I made a trip to Skiatook today looking for some Hangry Hybrids. We found bunches of them. we found them on our first stop and every stop there after. We kept moving trying to find some bigger ones but that never did happen.  Almost all of the Hybrids that we caught were between 1 to 3lbs. We ended the morning when we ran out of bait after about four hours. But not before we had boated 78 HYbrids. Al were caught on live bait. We were fishing in 30 to 39fow. Water temp. is 61degs. 11-04-18: FISH ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Another reel lee good day on Sooner Lake fishing for HYbrid/Stripers. It was one stop shopping today. We found a good group of HYbrids on our first stop of the day and four hours latter we had boated 71 pretty nice Hybrids. We were in 39fow, all were caught on downlines, all were caught on live Shad. Big fish of the day was a reel nice 15lb blue. Big Hybrid of the day was 5lbs. We had three Blues. Water temp. is 60degs. See my Facebook page for pics and video.

Skiatook Lake

11-03-18: FISH ON!!! We had a awesome morning on Skiatook Lake. Steve and Mario came from Kansas to enjoy some Oklahoma Hybrid fishing and they found it today. It was pretty much non stop all morning til we used up all of our 150 shad in about 4 hours. We made two stops and the second was the best. We found the Hybrids in 32fow on both spots. We caught all of the 75 Hybrids on downlines. Some of the Hybrids would come thru at 20ft and othese two cranks off of the bottom. No reel big HYbrids today. the biggest was about 5lbs. Sooner Lake

11-01-18: FISH ON!!!! We had a absolute Awesome day on Sooner Lake today with Bob and his grandson Wes. I marked alot of fish in 55fow so we fished there for alittle bit. We only caught a few but did catch a couple on freelines there. I moved about 100yards N to 32fow and it was pretty much non stop for the rest of the morning till we called it quits. We left them biteing. We ended the morning having boated 56 nice Hybrids. Nothing reel big just alot of Hangry ones. Water temp. is 62degs. Most of the HYbrids came in 32fow. Sooner Lake

10-30-18: FISH ON!!! Today I took out JIm and Rhonda. They won the raffle I did back in the spring for Oklahoma Wildlife Department. We had a reel good time. The wind was pretty strong and we ended up on anchor. but we still caught some Hybrids just not as many as we had been. We caught the Hybrids on downlines and a few on freelines. We were in 28 to 35 fow. We caught all on live Shad. Big fish was nice 11lb Blue. Water temp. is still 63 degs. We caught 38 Hybrids for the day. See my Facebook page for pics.

10-29-18: FISH ON!! It Just keeps on keeping on, on Sooner Lake. We had another reel lee good day on Sooner Lake fishing for Hybrid/Stripers. It started out like the house was on fire then just slowed down to good and steady. Nothing reel big. 4lbs was the biggest. We found them on a under water point in about 35 fow. All were caught on downlines. Again the Hybrids were comng thru at about 20ft. Water temp. is 63degs. See my Facebook page for pics.

10-27-18: FISH ON!!! Sooner lake just keeps getting better every day. We had a reel lee good outing with Dennis and Johnny today. Our first stop in 32fow produced about 10 Hybrids. Second spot was the same but the third spot was in 38fow and it pretty much was non stop. All of our Hybrids were caught on downlines on live Shad. But the Hybrids seemed to like the 20 to 25ft range. If you went any deeper you would catch White Perch. We ended the day after about 4 hours having boated 55 Hybrids and 10 White Perch. Biggest Hybrid was about 4lbs but we did have a nice 7lb LMB. Water temp. is 62 degs. See my Facebook page for pics.

10-25-18: FISH ON!!!! We had a reel lee good day on Sooner today fishing for HYbrid/Stripers with Dale and Dana. It was kinda cold and wet but the fish didnt know any better., We made one stop and that was all we needed to catch our limit of Hybrid/Stripers(plus some) and some pretty nice Catfish. Up to 16lbs. We found them today in 33fow and they were coming thru at 25ft. Most of the Hybrid/Stripers were caught on downlines on live bait but a few were caught on freelines with cut bait. Sooner Lake

10-24-18: FISH ON!!! We had a very good day today fishing for HYbrids on Sooner Lake. It started out alittle slow with nothing but some White Perch. On our third stop we finally figured out the Hybrids were above the white Perch. So we put our lines at 20ft instead of down on the bottom. Once we figured that out it was non stop action for the rest of the morning with very few more WP. We found the Hybrids in 33fow but suspended at 20ft. All were caught on live Shad. We did catch some decent Catfish on freelines with cut bait. Water temp. is 62degs. See my Facebook page for pics and video.

10-21-18: We had a good time on Sooner Lake today fishing for Hybrids. It took a few stops to find the active feeders. The Hybrids were really on the move. We found the active feeders in 30fow. We caught them on both freelines and downlines all on live shad. We caught a bunch of WP along with the Hybrids. Water temp. is 63degs. Our big fish for the day was about 4lbs. 10-20-18: We had a pretty good day on Sooner Lake today with Jimmy and family and friends. It wasnt real fast but we did catch some nice HYbrids along with some decent Catfish. The Hybrids were pretty scattered but we did find some bnched up. We caught most on downlines but a few on freelines. The Catfish came on downlines. Water temp is still 64 degs. 10-19-18: We had another pretty good day today with Keith and Hunter fishing for Hybrid/Stripers. It was pretty cold and wet when we started but we were catching some nice Hybrids. That spot slowed down so we went looking. We found a few at each stop but our last stop was the best. We found them in 27fow. All were caught on downlines all on live Shad. Water temp. is 64degs. Sooner Lake

10-18-18: We had a pretty good day on Sooner Lake fishing for HYbrid/Stripers. We caught a good bunch of Hybrid/Stripers but they were mixed in with the White Perch. We would catch 4 or 5 White Perch and one HYbrid. We looked at several spots but only found them in a couple. We found them in  22 to 33fow. Big Hybrid was about 4lbs. Water temp. is going ,down, is now 65degs. All were caught on downlines on live Shad.

10-14-18: We had a trip scheduled today but decided to reschedule due to the weather coming in. However a friend of mine did take customers for some HYbrid/Stripers and did not do very good at all. I was glade we did not go out.

10-12-18: I did a trip on Sooner Lake today fishing for some HYbrid/Stripers. We ran all over the lake with very little success. We did manage to find a few just not many and not very big. All were caught on downlines in about 25fow. All on live bait. Water temp. is 70degs.

10-12-18: FISH ON: What a difference a day makes. Larry Wine and I talked at the boat ramp today about working together to try and find the HYbrids today. We went different directions and it was like being in two places at once. It worked pretty good. When one of us found them we would call the other. We always have but not on todays level. We found most of the Hybrids in 30fow. All of ours were caught on downlines on live Shad. Our biggest was 4lbs. We ended yup with 38 Hybrids and some White Perch. Water temp. is 69 degs.

Port O Conner Texas

10-10-18: FISH ON: We made another trip to Port O'Connor. It started off pretty slow with us only catching a few Reds. We did hook up on four Tarpon and they all got off.  By the third day we finally got the Reds figured out and we caught 25 the last morning. We caught a few Shark also but 50lbs was about the biggest. We caught all of our fish on fresh caught bait. Mostly Menhaden or Mullett. See my Facebook page for pics and video.
